6 Interesting Ways To Enhance Our English Communication Skills

Here I would like to suggest a few methods on how to make our English Communication session more interesting:
1. TABLE TOPICS
- Come out with a few interesting topics and write them on a piece of paper each;
- The moderator will randomly choose a participant;
- Participant will come out and choose the topic blindly;
- Participant will talk about the topic for 1 -2 minutes only;
- Continue with other participants.
2. MINI DEBATE
- Come out with a a few mind-blown questions and write them on a piece of paper each;
- Form a team of four;
- There are going to be a few teams;
- Moderator will choose first 2 teams;
- These 2 teams will debate on the questions given. Each team will be presenting their ideas in 2 minutes;
- Continue with other teams.
3. RIDDLES / FUNNY QUESTIONS
- Come out with a list of funny questions;
- Randomly choose the participant;
- The participant will elaborate about the questions in about 2 minutes;
- Change participant.
4. TRUTH-OR-DARE
- Randomly choose the participant;
- He/she will choose truth or dare;
- If truth, he/she will tell about something true about him/herself;
- If dare, ask he/she to do something (related to speaking / communicating?
- Change participant.
5. STORY-OF-THE-LAST-WORD
- Moderator will read a short sentence;
- Select a participant randomly;
- That participant will tell a short story beginning with the last word of the sentence in about 1 minute only;
- Change participant and do the same.
6. ROLE PLAY
- Come out with a location and situation (e.g. library, hospital etc; patient had stomach ache etc.);
- Randomly select a few participants;
- Assign them with a role each;
- They will act according to the role given;
- Estimated time is 2 – 4 minutes for a session.
